Germany - Advice Needed

I have to go to Mannheim in Germany in October on business.

But I really don't know Germany all that well as I've only ever been to Frankfurt.

Could anyone suggest the best way for me to get to Mannheim? What airport is closest and will I need to get a train?

    Thanks in advance...

Frankfurt International Airport is the closest to Mannheim, the next nearest one would be Stuttgart.
You will need to take the train from Frankfurt Airport to Mannheim, which takes about half an hour and it is a direct connection. The ticket is about 20€ for one way and you can book it either on www.bahn.de or when you get there.

Great stuff! That's just what I wanted to hear... mainly because flights to Frankfurt start at €14 on Aer Lingus at the moment.

    Thanks.
