Musicians wanted for a Rock'n'roll band

    I'm starting a Rock'n'roll band, need: a vocalist, bassist, second guitarist and drummer. NOTE: It's a ROCK'N'ROLL BAND. None of your U2 and The Killers.
    Influences: Kiss, Thin Lizzy, Hanoi Rocks, W.A.S.P. Cheap Trick, Mötley Crüe. Male or Female, either's cool. 15yrs+ is preferred. People on the South of Dublin would be better to contact me, as it wouldn't work out if the members were too far apart (Like on the Northside)

    ur 15 ? and u into that trash ? well only good band is lizzy


    not any real fan base for that over here wont be getting many to gigs,if u just out to play what u like ? go for ur life but looking for crowds as sad as it is u need to play what want

    No, i'm 16, just using 15 as an absolute minimum age. I didn't say it'd be a cover band, now did i? Those are just influences. Original material would be written and it would suit today's "fashion" (if you will) It'll be some odd form of new glam rock.
    And, that's your opinion, but there's a crowd for everything. Ever heard of the Glitterbugs? They're this kick ass Dublin based glam band that play regularly in town (every week) They play all sorts of stuff like, Van Halen.

    jesus whats the point in slagging his influences, its not like his band are gonna come over to your house and do unspeakable things to your mother with a squid! thats what my band are gonna do

    anywho, to the threadstarter; good luck with the band, if/when you get gigging i'd definitely be up for giving you a listen, ESPECIALLY if that Lizzy influence shines through ;)

    MY band is a rock and roll band. Proper old school stuff like Chuck Berry and Little Richard. We're called The Wild Ones and we need gigs!

    It's not that i don't want people from the northside, it'd just be easier for the members if they all lived close to each other. I'm willing to give it a go, but it'd be hard for both of us, me going to glasnevin or you going to blackrock.

    I'm definitely on for it if you are.

    But anyway, your influences rock, your one of the only people ive heard about who likes W.A.S.P. (except for everyone at the W.A.S.P. gig of course), and Hanoi Rocks? brilliant! your the only person fullstop who ive heard about who likes Hanoi Rocks!! and of course, long live KISS!

    (You wouldnt by any chance go to De La Salle Churchtown would you cos that'd be a big coincidence)
