I am having this problem where if I click on a link in my hotmail or gmail nothing happens. If I right click and open in new window I get "The page cannot be displayed" message. I’ve googled the problem and it seems to be quite a common problem but the solution ppl are giving isn’t working for me.
I've tried the whole Start>run> and typing in REGSVR32 (followed by about 6 different .dll files and nothing.

I had this problem first day when I first installed XP SP2 when I built the pc and I fixed it. But now I can't remember exactly how. (yeah I know, I should have wrote it down or something) then I formatted my machine(forgetting about the problem) and back to square one again.

I do remember googling the problem last time and finding a thing about replacing a system.dll file with one that i downloaded (cant remember if a system.dll file is right but its something like that) does this sound familiar to anyone???? Please help cos its really annoying.

    Thanks
