Chorus Digital in Greystones

    Hi everyone

    Can anyone tell me when Chorus are intending to install their digital service in Greystones. It was promised years ago, but we still have to put up with the analogue package.

    Also, does anyone know how the proposed merger of Chorus and NTL is going? If it goes ahead, will it lead to a merger of services. From what I can see, NTL Digital is superior to Chorus

    The merger of NTL and Chorus most likely won't expand the package lineup of Chorus MMDS, it will most likely mean that "NTL" MMDS and "Chorus" MMDS customers will have an identical package while "NTL" cable customers and "Chorus" cable customers will have an identical package for them. Maybe at a future date chorus may cut their analogue service entirely and expand their MMDS digital lineup but at the moment their bandwidth is fairly limited which is why the picture quality can appear quite compressed. Not too sure about the bandwidth side of NTL MMDS though.
