Just got my tickets there - all thats left was 'upper circle'. I have a feeling it could be crappy seating, could someone tell me?

    Anyone else going?

EDIT: Ah bollocks I just checked the seating chart. Right up with the ****ing pigeons

Think we were in the Circle before for Radiohead the last tour they did - it was amazing. Admittedly our seat was nearish the front so it felt like we were literally looking right down on top of them but I'd highly recommend sitting up there.

Tip - that gig should have been sold out, yet there were seats not being sat on, in front of us!!! seemed like a lot of people were standing at the back / didn't find their seats / not sure why it happened. Anyways - our four seats were split, two of us near the front right and the other two towards the left somewhere - halfway through the other two from our group came over and sat with us as there was plenty of free seats. At worst if someone comes along claiming their seat you still have the ticket for your own ;)

I got a ticket that guarantees me entry to the pit.

what normally happens is that the missing people are standing, they prob have friends that got standing tickets and used the '2 go in and 1 come out' system... same with any gig in most venues, says it's sold out but they're are empty seats...

There are a block of seats in the Olympia that are always reserved for competition winners from the Irish Times and whatnot. Sometimes people win and don't bother going, hence the gap. It's normally the circle, in the middle near the front.

It's not the best view in the world but you can still hear fine which is what matters.

Yep, seen them four times so far. Been absolutely amazing every time.

Was talking to a friend who saw them on that recent tour of Europe and she said it was amazing. Even if it's half as good as the last time I saw them I'll be going home delirious.

The new album isn't the best, but they've never let me down live before.

Are tickets for this event sold out. Tried ticketmaster online there; and there doesn't seem to be any joy or much info.

Congrats to those of you who got tickets, should be an excellent gig. I'm sorry I didn't notice this until now :(

Yep, it's sold out. They may have tickets in Sound Cellar though.
