Installing 2nd Digibox & Channel 4

Hi, just got connected to SKY. in (Co.Meath).

I did a bit of searching in regard to SKY.
Found that it was possible to use seperate FTA activated card to watch CH4, but to make sure phone line is disconnected.

I phone up sky and explained that there is currently a black market in regards to sky cards, and would it be possible to buy the ch4 activated card directly from sky , you can guess the answer....

So I paid for an extra card (ebay) , and managed to get a 2600 Digibox with activated card.

    Now to my query:
Just got the sky-installer out, installed new digibox and ran single LNB to my sitting-room. I was out at the time, so left details with my "wifey" to ask the installer if they could attach a quad LNB instead, and of course we would pay the extra. They're answer ? ahh ...so sure we can't do that , need to inform sky first and need to apply for the extra 15 Euro per month , etc, etc,, bla bla...

That's of course total bull, it is possible to install a quad lnb, and no need to inform sky. As I'm paying for the standard monthly charge (family basic pack), for one digibox, one card (no ch4).

But the second digibox which I own, and the 2nd card, which I own, it's my own business if I want to connect seperately to another digibox.

Ok..Ok... this is more of a hart-to-hart discussion,

    hers's my real query:

since the Fe****s would not install a Quad LNB, and I don't know when I can get the time to swing from the fireplace and install a new lnb myself,
would it be possible to split the current coaxial cable in to two cables, and connect these to two seperate DIGIBOXES ????

    Cheers,
