Rubbish up the mountains

had a look to see if there was a thread open already on this.
what are peoples experiences of rubbish on the mountains. i was up the comeragh mountains last weekend, i parked in the top car park by mahon falls and started walking up the left hand side of the valley. as you proceed up the hill theres a large rock not far off the road, behind the rock there were a load of alcopop bottles and beer/cider cans. it didnt stop there.
it appears these folks decided to walk up the hill (judging by the trail they left after them).
in fact the combination of fatigue/ drink must have gotten the better of one of the party coz there was a full can of cider abandoned near the top.
now this really got me , as it presented me with my 2 pet hates...1) rubbish up the mountains 2) wasting perfectly good drink!!!

i have (as im sure most people here have) in the past done my best to pick up any rubbish i see on the hills, but on this occasion i didnt have the room in my pack.
dont get me wrong..im all on for a few drinks up the mountains after a good walk but it annoys me when people choose to leave their rubbish after them.
