First post, folks! Hope this is an appropriate question for the forum...

Could anyone give me an estimate of the cost of painting a three bed bungalow with newly plastered walls and ceilings

Tried to do it myself, but can't get time off work at the moment and we need the whole house done

It's in south dublin, if that impacts on travelling costs, etc.

    Many thanks.

Newly plastered walls and ceiling does it come with new woodwork also?If its on the same sort of square footage as a standard 3bed(obviously without the staircase).I'd say you will be looking at €1500 plus paint.Maybe be a little less because of no staircase, but some bungalows can be deceiving.

    Thanks folks,

Mad M : excuse my ignorance, but by new woodwork I assume that you are refering to skirting boards, doorframes, etc...if so, we need them done as well...thanks for the estimate...I see there is other posts on where to get paint so I'll chase them up...

Liasloo : if you want to pm me with your friend's contact details, I'll give him a shout

Anyone else, any recommendations or tips?

    Cheers,
