    get yer arse to the airport first thing mate.i worked there for four years and as far as i know the tour operaters start work at 6 am with the first flights at around 8.Majorca is one of the most popular destinations and if you explain yourself and the situation to the reps,they will issue you with a standby coupon and then you have to wait for a seat to open up.Its the only thing you can do.Be there at 6am sharp,maybe even earlier

    Get an easyjet flight to london gatwick at 8.40AM
    There is an easyjet flight to Palma at 11.10
    I took these flights about 3 weeks ago and it worked out great.
    You'll be ther for about 1PM irish time.
