Anyone heading down for the Poker.ie 50euro freezeout in the fitz this Friday? Should be a decent turnout and plenty of new faces.

Also Cian, if you could post up details such as starting stack, blind structure etc it would be helpful

Wow, didnt notice the thread

So far the details are as follows;

We have the balcony area booked, tournament starts at 8, reg at 7.30. Buy in is €50+5. I will get in touch with Ken from the Fitz and request a run-down of the structure. There will be 3 dealers for the night. Also, we are getting in a few crates of beer, which will be available for players free of charge.

As players are knocked out and tables become available, there will be self-dealing SNG's available.

We are trying to get an idea of numbers before the night, so if you are interested in coming, could you please flag your attendance here. Alternatively, just reply here (but not both!).

The Balcony - thats space for 3 tables,

Structure, would assume youll get the Monday structure (ask for it otherwise) 20 min blinds, 25/50 50/100 75/150 100/200 150/300 etc

My apologies, I just got off the phone to Ken and he recommended the 4,000 starting stack, with blinds starting 25/50, going up every 20 mins. Which is 80bb start, and leaves a lot more room for po-kah playin.

We have booked the balcony to allow for the beers. If there are more tables needed, it will be extended out onto the upstairs.

Note; as we are unsure with numbers, we have 3 dealers booked. If there are more than 3 tables, the extra tables will be self deal.

I was just speaking with Ken again, and should there be a demand on the night, we will be able to have a cash game table up stairs with dealer at tomorrows game. The rake will be handled in the normal way, where dealer takes an amount from each pot. But the game is up to the table. Blinds will likely be 1/2, but should the table prefer it higher or lower, we can see about changing.

Aswell as this there will be self-dealing SNGs available. (game/buy in also up to the table)

yeh i had that problem too. had to change my password twice beford it worked, and even then it only worked once

Looking forward to this game. Should be good. Have to do better than tonight anyway. 6th again in the fitz freeroll. Ive been the bubble two weeks running now. 4 freeroll final tables this month and no tickets. Fcukin bullsh1t....

Did you click "Flag Your Attendance" where the event is listed in the Directory? If yes, looks like there could be a technical fault blocking any further flaggings for some reason. Sorry about this lads. We have sent a mail to the designer. You can talk to Nicky before the game about placing bets, he will be taking them up until the start of the game.

This is a game I'd love to play, but I'm not sure if I'll make it on time... what's the story with late entries? It's normally the first couple of levels in the regular tournaments, is it the same here?

DocO, have you tried the above links? If you come along at 7.30 it should be fine. If you want to partake in the side bets you can talk to Nicky:)

Lenny, we are going by normal Fitz house rules with regards late comers, if you can get somebody to pay you in before it starts, then your stack will be placed at the table and blinded away until you turn up. It can remain on the table until after Level 2, which is about an hour as far as I know.
