Nice find. It's weird though. It's €1333 inc the discount and they have an identical X1 on the same page for €1774, almost €450 more!

Must admit you quite often see those kinda variations in the dell outlet on machines of apparently the same spec.

Maybe the cheaper ones are RTB repairs or Refurbs? Especially for those companies who dell have a supply agreement with where they just replace faulty machines with a new one.

Maybe some kind soul from Dell Ireland is reading and could enlighten us?

The only one that appears to be available now is 1549. That's ex-VAT of course which makes it more expensive than buying the regular way when the VAT is added (currrent price is 1599 incl VAT, up 50 euros from a few weeks ago). And the spec is lower than buying the regular way too as it's only got a DVD-CDRW external combo rather than the DVD-RW coming with buying through the regular store.

Am I right in thinking that all outlet store sales come with a 1 year CAR warranty? Even with the X1, which when bought through the regular store has 3yr onsite as standard?

Last month I was keeping an eye on those (got a laptop now) and the cheapest X1 was €1104 inc VAT + Discounts (€79 ex VAT)

It had 60gb HDD, and 512mb RAM.

Some great deals there but you gotta keep an eye on it almonst permanently!

/me runs off to write a script that monitors the Dell outlet....
