    Between 8 and 8:30. Not certain if the Mayfair allow you to call it in.

    a hell of a game going on there at the moment. over 30 runners so extra money added and 8 players paid with €550+ to the winner. i was chip leader at one stage after a spectacular triple up but shortly after joining a new table my queens ran into kings and things never got much better after that. i exited 2 off the money when my nines ran into the same players queens. ionapaul is still there as the final table was forming and one double up and he's back at the races.

    Did ok, nothing amazing, called an all in for almost all my chips with 88 and ran into k,k blinds where eating me away at that stage. Had a sit and go afterwards and me and a freind split that, great fun and will defo go again. I was the dude with the afro if anyone was wondering.

    hows it goin. yeah i was the one who knocked you and the girl with KK out in the same hand with AsQs. she was beginning to run over the table before the break so i decided to correct her. sorry if i might not have wished you the best after that hand but my head was still spinning with the fact that i cracked her kings. when she joined our table i noticed her modus operandi was to usually place a stern bet and then go all in on the flop. so when she did this again shortly before the break and i got KK i decided to be cute and flat call. i knew she had Ax so when the flop brought an ace and king i checked and she done the expected all in move. she had AK :D

    Came 5th in the end. Very disappointed as because of the prize structure this really felt like the bubble - 30 runners, €300 added to the pool so €1,200 in total, 8 paid (a bit too generous!), 8th-7th €40, 6th-5th €60, 4th €120, 3rd €180, 2nd €240, 1st €460. Played quite well on the final table, pushing pre-flop when I thought the others were weak and using my small stack well post-flop on occasion.

    I went out 11th or 12th...good game and its getting bigger each week,anybody know what time it was over at...?I play this because its over early unlike the Fitz 50 game but if it keeps getting bigger then I will have to think twice about playing this as often.

    ps:it was nice to put a face to the name rounders.

    Yea i remember that hand rounders, you played it very well. I had a few outs for a amazing tripple up to 900 at the end, but no flush came on the river and your wan was holding 2 kings and i needed one for the straight. The best hand i got all night was a pair

    yeah nice to meet you dub13. i was arching around periodically to check of yourself and paul's progress and on one such check your seat was empty. i was gone myself about 25-35 mins later.

    6th-5th for €60. yeah its a good job i play for the thrill of victory because one has to play mike mattesow "amazing poker, not even poker but amazing poker" to place 5th-6th or better and even then youre only doubling your entry.

    rasTa i remember you rooting for that card to triple you up which would have been the first real good thing that would have hapenned for you. ul there.

    theres was lovely australian girl there that always kept the drinks coming with a smile. shes a good dealer aswell but wasnt dealing last night by the look of it. "another lemonaide yeah" i liked 7up being refered to as lemonade for some reason, its kind of earthy.

    they're going to have to work on that prize structure. paying 8 places with 30 runners! it should be an absolute maximum of 5 places. something like this: 1st: €480, 2nd: €280; 3rd €190; 4th €150; 5th: €100

    Or this:

    1st: 1200

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,299 ✭✭✭✭MadsL

    Or this;

    1200/8 = €150 :D
