Hi Lads and Ladies
Myself and my girlfriend are heading over to Rome in September for a well deserved holiday. I was just wondering if anybody could suggest a:

Good area to stay in the city, close to shopping, attractions, restaurants etc.

Good Hotels, apartments or hostels. price is important, nothing too mad! maybe €100 - €150

and finally any other advice and suggestions would be really appreciated!
