Round IDE cables - Akasa vs Vantec

    Hey,

    I was wondering which cables should I go with?

    who makes more quality cables? Akasa or Vantec? I've read Vantec includes "extra" insulation or something but I'm not sure.

    Which one would you guys recommend?

    I have various rounded IDE cables but I've no idea who the manufacturer is on any of them. Some I bought from Komplett and some came with my motherboard, I think I may have even got one or two from Maplin. They all seem pretty much the same and have all been reliable for many years now.

    Is there much difference in the price of them? If it's a minor difference then I'd probably just pick the more expensive one. If it's a large difference I'd probably go for the cheap one though.

    naah they are mostly the same price

    It's just that Vantecs are hard to find, but Akasa is everywhere, and don't know much about Akasa
