Camcorder advice

    Hi,

Looking to get myself a camcorder. I've been reading reviews all over the shop but I'm a little short on hands on knowledge.

The main thing I'm looking for is good video quality, I've got a 300D for stills so this would be used for video only.
From what I've read the one of the main discriminators is low light performance i.e. indoors. Again from reviews, 3CCD seems to be a better (if pricey) option for this. Would you guys agree? And what models would people recommend?
Also, do camcorders come with decent editing software or would it be better to get something else later?
