A few friends and I are heading off for a few days, we want to be by the coast where we can surf and somewhere that has a good nightlife and will be lively.

We're thinking Dingle, somewhere in Clare, Galway city (maybe surfing isn't so important) or Sligo.

    What do you think?

    Cheers

There is a Hostel on Acaill called "The Valley" and it has a bar attatched and it is great, check it out.

If you are a serious surfer I'd say either Banna Strand outside Tralle or strandhill in Sligo either one would require a serious tolerance for cheesy 'oirish bars' and little other nightlife. Mancora

Well tbh its more of a pissup with a side of surfing. We've already been to Galway this summer so we want to try something new. Might go to Dingle. I wouldn't mind trying somewhere new though

Lahinch is a great little town. cool surf and loads of deadly litle pubs with a nice vibe.

Also strandhill is a nice spot, but personally I prefer lahinch.
