Still no further news of the track.

We're gonna keep working at it over the winter and try to have something for the outdoors next year.

For the winter the club is running electric touring cars indoors most Saturdays.

    Contact me for further info.

    MiCk B. :-)

sounds interesting midebear I have a savage myself and I'm always looking out for new places to bash it around.

Was there ever an attempt to make an off road track, a decent one with compitions and race meetings. It would cracker, everyone just meeting up and going for a bash:)
If we ever decided to make a track, how many people would be intreasted, it would be pointless if there was only the about 10 lads. Also were would we make one:confused:

not in dublin :( costs tooo much, maybe not too far from dublin and near a motorway so it is easy too reach, the only bad thing is the rain on teh off road track :(im sure they get a few people in green hobby and otehr places that have monster trucks if they were told they probably would be interested :)

We should find a place that is near a enough to everyone, if its outside Dublin the lads that are from cork and galway probobly won,t bother going cause its way to far:confused: On the other hand if we started building a track what would it be like? They are a few tips on the web "how to build a track" that could be helpful. Here,s a little track.

if there is a small entry fee (€3 maybe? say we will give the money to ur parents XD we should get thats stuff they puut over pools the blue stuff? for the winter and nights or just the rain in general
if this comes true it will help the irhs side of this hobby i think
oh and we can uhh "borrow" the podium ffrom st. annes:D

wow, long tim esince ive been here!! im liking these ideas!! flunked, all we need to do is convince the council and get them to do something in the cornfield!! that is actally gr8 for bashing (dwon the back) and im ding to go to it, +the big field down the hill, a temp track could easily be done for a day of messin,

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,763 ✭✭✭g5hn710m4xpdwy

quite true, make some wooden ramps (pretty easy) and get some corrugated pipe, lay it down and hey we got a track ;-) or if we get some of the older lads here (they wont listn to a 13 & a 16? is it? year old too good) but theres a possiblity. get a... big container for a podium ;-) it would be possible, if the concil would agree... i wonder of they would....
