    Playing a home game last night, I was all-in on the small blind. Blinds were at 500/1000 and I had about 475. The BB paid up, and everybody else folded.

    Now, I managed to win the pot, but do I win the 950 only (475 * 2) and the rest of the BB went into a side pot which only that player was contesting? Or do I get the entire pot (BB+SB)?

    I can't believe I don't know the answer to that!

    You get 950. BB takes the rest.

    did you have 475 after posting the SB or just 475 total?

    if it was 475 total, then what musician said :)
    if it was 475 above the 500 SB then the BB takes back 25 and the pot is 1950.
