    Anyone played Exile on the Amiga or any of the remakes? Wow. This is a great space sci-fi exploration game.

    Yeah, I've played it on a C64 emulator. Great game, but bloody difficult....
    The physics were pretty groundbreaking at the time.

    Guess this should be under the emulators section... but I digged around for info on this further.

    Get this... there is a 9Mb map file for download for this game. Here it is discussed in length. A real exploration wet dream.

    Here's a tribute to the game on the BBC micro. Up there with NASA for compression. Look at the limited char graphic set halfway down.

    Apparently Exile was difficult to crack and even the original had some serious bugged but the Amiga community have got a fix (wahey!). Big discussion here:

    I don't know where to start. :) A kid in a candy shop. Probably the Amiga ECS version... :) How on earth did I miss this? Did ye actually complete this... that map is huuuuuge!
