Mozilla Firefox issue

    Hello everyone,

I use Mozilla Firefox but for the past week or so, the browser does not display pictures on certain websites such as eBay for example. This is quite frustrating as it means I have to open IE to see the pics...

Does anybody know what could be doing this? I thought it might have been Adblock causing this problem so I uninstalled it but the problem remains... Help anyone!? :(

    Thank you! ;)

    Preferences: Web features:

What boxes are checked, and exceptions do you have?

Try Tools -> Preferences -> Web Features

Uncheck the "Load images from originating site only".

    Hi Gordon, Alvis,

I had all the boxes checked in Web Preferences! So I unchecked the "Load images from originating site only" box and now everything is back to normal! :D

Thanks a million lads! Can't stand IE :p

    Have a good week-end! ;)

I can't seem to update Firefox lately. It will come up telling me an update is available, but when I click it, it just basically hangs?

Can't see any actual update button. If I just get the latest version in full, will it keep my bookmarks and stuff?

Yes it'll keep your bookmarks and stuff as they are kept in a separate location to the firefox.exe which is basically what you're updating with a new version, none of the other stuff'll change

OK that worked fine, thanks. I have another problem though. I keep getting signed out of here after a few minutes or if I leave the site. I have my cookies set to ask for individual sites, but I gave them permission for this site. I'm a member of other vBulletin sites, and don't experience this problem.

Try signing in on a page other than the main Boards.ie page. Seems to work for me.

Got it sorted. There were 2 cookies, one allowed, one denied. Thanks for your help.
