I have only looked at Newbury so far, there is great racing there today. If I look at the other cards I will post those selections too.

    Newbury 1.00 Bahiano
At first glance of this card I liked Primo Way and All Ivory, but further analysis lead me to go with Bahiano. I reckon All Ivory will be the danger here. Bahiano has been very impressive over 7f and 1 mile distances in both class 1 and class 2. It doesn't really need to improve to overcome the opposition today, however it does need to perform quite well, which I expect it will. This horse has been exposed to class 2 for quite sometime and is still awaiting it's first class 2 win. I think today is the day with Fortune's first time riding this horse.

    Newbury 2.10 Sweet Afton
Came fifth last time out in a class 1 race, with Mick Kinane on board over 6f. 6f definately didn't suit this horse, and I do admit, it will need an improvement here today as it was outpaced early on last time out. Looking to make it 2 out of 2 today over 5f mark, if it gets out nicely from the stalls, it should stay on to win. Nigella and Nivelle are the dangers here.

    Newbury 3.25 Gamut
I expect there will be very short prices for this race. I have to admit I am very biased towards Gamut, I have been watching this horse since it's superb run with Fallon on board in April of 2004. Fallon really did do well on Gamut since that run. J P Murtagh is on board today over 13.5f Gamut has raced 14f once, and the majority of it's races were over 12f. Asking for an extra furlong today I hope to see it there or thereabouts.

    Newbury 4.00 Devon Flame
Has raced over 6f in it's last five races, three of these races were class 5, which it won with ease. Had a very good run in a class 2 race 2 races ago, but was pretty disappointing last time out. It just never got into it, however it was up against tough opposition. A drop in class today, and a drop in distance to 5f should be the right mix to get another win from this horse today.

    Newmarket 2.35 Madhavi
My original selection here was Sir Desmond but he's a non runner, so I had to do some rethinking :)
I can see why Pic Up Sticks is the forecasted favourite. He only picked up inside the final furlong in it's last race which was over 5f, he was crying for another furlong which he gets here today. Nautical had a superb run in a class 3 over 7f, and sees a drop in class here, and one furlong less to run, it is definately a strong contender. I am going to go with Madhavi, this is Dane's forth time riding this horse, and he has been getting it to improve with each ride. It's last five races have been very impressive, and it is well used to running with this sort of opposition. His last two races were 8f races, where he kicked clean ahead 3f out to be swallowed up but stay on third. A drop to 6f should see him run clean home. But then again, this is a hard one to call. I think the three horses I have mentioned are the ones to watch. Nevertheless, Madhavi to win.

    Ripon 3:15 - Mine Behind
Won its last two. Trainer in good form. Good draw. Ground fine. Good e/w chance at around 11/1.

    ---

Edit: Finished 6th of 23 at SP of 8/1. Ground might have gone a bit too soft and he may prefer 7f but a decent run nonetheless.

Gah, not much luck today lads. No winners, best so far is a 2nd place by Sweet Afton. Good thing my soccer bets are coming good for me :o
