Thats some amount of switches on it. Pickups look cool. Is that a rare guitar? How much do you think it will go for?

They are supposed to be pretty rare in this condition. I'd reckon $2000+

so what do all the switches do? are they pickup switches or onboard effects?

"with 3 splitter switches and 3 on / off switches, which gives you over 40 pickup combinations"

    Here's some info:

Each coil of each Z-Coil is connected in parallel...not series. What does this mean?...Well...1/2 the output but you get a much wider frequency out of these little gems which is a good thing. All Comanche VI's sound nothing like the Comanche V or the modern day reissue...in my opinion it is a much better sounding guitar and certainly more versatile as well. Another interesting tidbit is that Leo had nothing to do with the Comanche VI circuit...it was devised in a joint effort between Steve Reed and Dale Hyatt. It was nothing more than an experiment to see how far they could go with switching options.

The bad news is that the switching is a bit cumbersome for live situations...but lets be realistic...who's going to gig with this guitar?
