I realise before i start that there will be cynics who'll call it coincidence, but i feelt that there's too much in this to be purely coincidental. and it is 100% true.

About 5 years ago my mother was working away at the desk of the hotel she works in, when an old lady said out of the blue "You're taking the wrong tablets, You should go back to the doctor" Naturally my mother thought this to be strange and asked her to explain. The woman just told her the same thing again. Anyway they got talking and after the old woman had her lunch, she asked my mother if she could take her reading. Reluctantly my mother said ok, so they went into the lounge and the old lady began to talk.
(for this i'll summarise, because the full story is way too long)

You have two children, both boys..(true)
"One of these will go abroad next year, but you will fear for his safety.. don't worry, it will be fine." -- My brother went to America the next summer.. and was 5 blocks from Ground Zero when the planes struck in 9/11
"The other will get into a relationship, a blonde haired girl, be wary, i see trouble involving the police". -- My Ex gf was assaulted and there was a long court case over the whole thing.
"You want to move house.but not yet.. in a few years i can see a house on a hill. close to a river and i see horses". --- Last week we bought a cottage near Baltinglass in Wicklow.. 50yds from the R. Slaney.. with 6 horses in the field behind. and yes. its on a hill.
"Trust me" she said, "Someone's looking out for you"

There's more deitail about this and more that she said,
The more interesting aspect of this is that my mother told me this the night she came home from there.. and the next day went to the doctor, who realised that the perscription she was on was far too strong for her ailment and it had beenmaking her lose sleep.. I'm a little unsettled by it.. but in a good way. Anyway. Just thought i'd share my experiences

Thats really interesting and its good to hear about cases like this where the info does seem to be specific and accurate, instead of the usual bad press this kind of thing gets :)
(The cynics will usually ask how much did she charge, could she have researched your mum - to which the answer would seem to have to be no - and how much other non specific info was given.)

I remember that a woman came to our door ages ago and she said a few things that were accurate at the time. I think she mentioned travel, and it's something I did. It's a shame I wasn't able to get a full reading, but I wasn't able to to, due to circumstances at the time.

    Very interesting.

Of course I can't really believe it unless you show me footage of it happening, with the paper in the back round, and sky news of that date playing. Then give me proof that they weren't told about the predicitons and somehow brought them about themselves...

    But interesting none the less...

I take your point, but you'll just have to take my word for it. What i would say is how my brother could have brought the 9/11 attacks about, or how I could have brought a 7 month legal case involving my then Girlfriend about because i heard it might happen. (Neither of which were desireable events might i add) That may be a possibility with the house, but we happened upon it by pure chance, as oppsosed to looking for a house of that type.

I can understand the cynicism, as it does sound a bit out there, but all i know is that she said all that stuff and then it happened.

No! Its not cynicism, its scepticism, they are very different things.

Erm, sounds like cynicism to me.... An attitude of scornful or jaded negativity, especially a general distrust of the integrity or professed motives of others :)
Forgive me, got out of wrong side of bed this am :D

did this woman happen to say anything that was wildly wrong ? Or do you only remember the correct bits ?

    (healthy sceptism!)

It wasn't scornful. I think maybe you misunderstood my slight self mockery.
