Wood Pellet stoves eperiences

    Hi, I'm thinking of putting a wood pellet stove in my new build kitchen with a back boiler to heat several radiators, however i know nothing about them except that i like the idea from an environmental perspective. Does anyone out there have one in their homes, was it expensive, how much are the pellets, do they last long, would you recommend it as a form of heating, does it look good astetically etc.. ?????
    Told you i know nothing about them.. and advice or feedback appreciated..
