Instrumental 3 piece seeks more members. We are all 17, based in Harolds Cross. Between us, we have guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, drums, keyboard, accordion and glockenspiel. unfortunately, given that there's only three of us, we can't play more than three of those at the same time, so any musician who is interested is welcome to respond to this. even better if you play a non-guitar instrument, for variety, strings, flute, whatever. (Singers are also welcome)
Our influences include: Tortoise, Sigur Rós, Redneck Manifesto, Mice Parade, Radiohead, Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky, Fela Kuti, Do Make Say Think, Squarepusher, Múm, Aphex Twin, Slint, Jaga Jazzist, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, and many more. PM me or reply on this thread.

I might give it a shot. You're resonably close to me (20 mins cycle to get to harolds cross for me) so thats handy.

I'd listen to these out of your list of influences (Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Mogwai, Godspeed You Black Emperor!), vaguely know some of the others and never heard of a good few of em :p

I play guitar (prefer the acoustic, have electric aswell) and i played keyboard for 4 years but gave that up about 2 years ago. I used to play recorder up to about 6 years ago, but havn't played one since. I probably learned that for about 5 years in total. I could pick it up again easily enough if it was needed. Its not something you'd forget too quickly.

I can also play the triangle. :p
