yeah actually I was wondering about that too....I defo want something really elegant...not all this tonged curls and straight at the front lark...

My hair is naturally curly so I was thinking of leaving it natural (with TONS of moose) and then just tong the odd one to make it purrr-fect....

I really dunno what else would look nice, and I'm loath to go to the hairdresser for it and part with €50...hmmm....maybe you could go with the whole "relaxed curls" look - like, GHD it.

Oh, It also might be nice (depending on the dress) to go for a 40's style up-do...but only if it suits the dress...

em...hope the aimless rambling helped somewhat...

    :)

What's really nice, especially with long hair, is to have it curly and just put up the front bits of your hair loosly.

Al that stiff hair debs look is real dated I think.

I brought this picture with me to the hairdressers for my debs. I got the bun a little tidier and higher. Picked up some jeweled pins in Powerscourt and she placed them sporadically in the 'do!

I think a plaited centre parted bun..
im keeping my hair really really simple either simple bun
or sleek blow-dry with lots of volume..kinda cheryl cole.
but probably up to show off the dress.
google images of people with your similar hair colour/style to help!

I've got my own debs next month and I was thinking of a really loose, curly, low bun. that way you can appreciate the style from the front too, wheras the generic sleek updo can look pretty boring head-on. you could also go for a chignon or a side bun?

if you have the money i'd suggest heading to a hair dresser and getting a trial run done- you can try it with your dress then at home and see if having your hair up or down is the way to go. I did it and i found it really helpful- also went out on the night i got the trail done and had the best hair in the place! haha

this is from experience. the hair style you go for really needs to match the style of dress that you are wearing and also the shape of your face.half-up half down styles look really nice. if you have natural wavy or curly hair, use it to your advantage. they look really nice as a half-up half-down and generally go with lots of different style dresses. also look up you tube for videos on how to do up styles with your type of hair. it can be really useful and can give you and idea what style you want before going to the hairdressers. sometimes they can be really easy to do at home and you mightn't even need to go to the hairdressers to get your hair done for the debs:) good luck!!!!

i got a really low chignon, but she kind of did it all criss-crossed at the back of my head:D i absoloutely loved it,mainly because all the other girls had that horrible over-styled,over curled, over hairsprayed nonsense. mine was really relaxed looking, loved it!
