715 mb ISO image problem

I have 3 Mandriva (linux) ISO images to burn to cd, but the first disk is 715 mb in size. Does anyone know how if it is possible to get cd-r/cd-rw disk's in 750 or 800mb sizes ?? or is there a way to get this image onto a 700mb disk ?

Try it, it should burn. It's 715,000 kb.
So 699mb.

Yea i think its called overburning, there's a chance the disc wont work if your drive is incompatible, but it should work

Just try burning with Nero, it'll more than likely fit.

I think you'll find that the image is ~715000000bytes which is 715000000/1024/1024=681.88MB
It should burn fine to a 700MB disk.

I'm pretty sure there's no need to overburn. It's just he is reading the first 3 numbers in the kilobyte form. 1Mb = 1024Kb

I'll give it a go later with a 700mb disk. But I'll be back to call ye all liars later if it doesn't work .
