Any big fans out there of the best TV show ever - Improivisation HEAVEN!!! Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie were simply brilliant - prefer those two to the earlier guests like Tony Slattery and all those english pratts.....

I love that show, yeah. Ryan and Colin are hilarious. Imagine going out for a few pints with those guys? You'd be in stitches all night..... Greg Proops is great too...

I quite liked the UK show. I thought Tony Slattery and Mike McShane were really good. Remember their S&M show from the early 90s? It was an improv sketch show which was hit and miss, but when it hit, it REALLY hit!

Great to see this show on so often these days.... I think its on one of the UK Gold channels every night.

yeah loved this show but i couldnt help but think that greg proops was always trying too hard

my favourite scene in it ever was ryan, colin, and 2 others all pretending to be john wayne on a burning oil rig, pure genius :D

my cousin gave me a few episodes a while back, still really goos (apart from the fashion sense :D )

i always found the show to be too rehearsed for my liking, but i have laughed on occasion

I've never once see Ryan fail to be funny in the years I've watched the show. Some of the others can be on and off, but he always steals the show.

The scene with Richard Simmons was one of the most pant-dryness-threatening things I've ever seen!

Ryan and Colin certainly were genius - I personally feel that Colin was the funniest!! - he constantly wanted to do that dinosaur impression, and also hated the Hoedown so he would always collapse half way through...
Anybody know where you can get DVD's of the shows, can't get any of the channels that it is now showing on on NTL!!

Brilliant show, we have loads of episodes taped from channel 4 from years ago at home, must watch some of them.

Ryan Styles was the funniest though.

UK Gold eh? Must tune into that to see this again!

Either that or one of the paramount channels...

That twat Drew carey ruined it. It was much better when it was made for Ch4.
Tony Slattery bouncing off Anderson was always great.

They should bring it back with Anderson, Ryan, Colin and some of the newer comedians that have come along since it finished on Ch4.

Must get the Robin Williams episode from the cousin.

The English version was hi-larious. I remember watching it when I was younger and I used to hate when Ryan Stiles wasn't picked to do one of the scenes, such is the sheer talent of the man. Himself, Colin Mockrie, Greg Proops and Tony Slattery were always my favourites.
I'm not gone on the American version. Don't like the way Drew Carey has to get involved in a scene at the end.

your right Nimrod...was gutted when Ryan wasn't picked for any of the scenes....
Anybody know if DVD's are released of the UK version...???

Tony Slattery and all those english pratts.....
Tony's parents were from Galway BTW and emigrated to the UK in the 50's.

I thought John Sessions was the best and Stephen Fry used to be very funny the odd time he made an appearance.

You can download most of the old 90's shows from uknova via BitTorrent.

The Robin Williams episode wasn't actually that funny (in my opinion of course). Whoopi Goldberg was on it a few times and she was hilarious though.

I always thought the UK show was much better as well. Clive Anderson was a far better presenter than Drew Carey, and they seemed to get away with much more ie. the superheroes sketch where Colin named Ryan "embarassed about his erection boy" or the mission improbable where the mission was to wax someones out of control bikini line. They censored too much out of the American version and would never have gotten away with that kinda thing.

I always thought Colin was the funniest (and he's Scottish damnit, not Canadian!) with Ryan a close second. Colin and Brad Sherwood still tour the US doing live improv shows. Would love to see them the next time I am over there!

Also, It was Challenge TV thats been showing it recently. They seem to rotate the shows in that slot every few weeks though so it hasn't been on for about a month. Hopefully will be back on soon. 8.25pm on weekdays. Sometimes they have a double episode on Saturdays about 9pm, and you might catch it occasionally in the early hours during the week. Damn messy scheduling :(

Can't believe Josie Lawrence didn't get a mention yet. She was always hilarious in the 'musical' round.

Meh she was ok.....I always thought Mike McShane was much better at the singing ones.
