Swap magic in ireland?

    Can this be bought over the counter here?

    Need it for someones Bday and err kinda forgot to buy it off lik sang when buying We9.

    Anyone know where it can be got or anyone selling one? preferably before Monday the 8th would be great.



    /not the 1st time i bought people import games with no way of playing them :)

    You could use the memcard exploit to tide you over till the swap magic arrives.

    How that work?

    Only know of mod chips and swap magic as being the only way to play a import game.

    Check the ps2scene or ps2ownz forums for a HOWTO.

    It involves configuring & copying the exploit to a memcard, then using a combination of a ps1 disk and large TOC ps2 disk to perform a swap with your import.

    Its a bit messy, but it works. The difficult part is getting the exploit onto the memcard, you either need a modded ps2 to run homebrew software which will copy it on, or one of those savegame action-replay type things.
