Smarttelecom in Castaheany/Manorfields

    Any news on when/IF smart telecom are coming to Castaheany/manorfields area in D15? I've signed up for the trigger program etc but no news so far.

    unless you are in a major city or very large town, personally, i wouldnt expect any move for at least another year

    Well, Eircom BB is available. I contacted smarttelecom and they seemed a bit confused: Sait that the Clonee exchange is available. I'll ring 'em again during the week as I've only just got my phone connected.

    Eircom's broadband is available but that's irrelevant. Smart aren't doing eircom bitstream like BT, UTV, etc. They have to physically install their own equipment in each exchange that they make their service available in.
