Adds on boards?

Eircom broadband add on boards?
I wish i took a screenshot, but on one page there was an add on the top right hand corner of the screen, opposite boards logo, it was annoying cos it was covering part of the drop down navigation menu when they were expanded.
It was a standard BB add you see on most other sites, maybe a little smaller

Anybody else see this?
Is this a well known plan that i missed out reading on?
What really emphasised it is that i was reading the thread on the value of boards and then i saw the add, but on the thread it was stated how great boards is without adds.
TBH, I think boards should have a small add, in that section anyway, I think it is more than required in order to cover hosting costs, and other nitty gritty administrative costs of boards, however i have noticed a few postings saying it would some how change boards.

To clarify, it was roughly about 11 o clock ish.
I did concider was it somehow overlayed from another window i had open, but all windows were boards.ie, I have not seen it since.

Yea I had it earlier too. Yea it was annoying, blocked the drop down boxes, so I just added it to adblock, aint seen it since

Well, it def not there now, Its a Mystery, that must be solved, or i will forget about it and get on with my life, i mean it too, im not kiddding around here.
