    Hi,

Looking for some books (technical and some reading)

I've got amazon.ie obviously, and abebooks.co.uk is good too. The eason.ie website is so frustrating to search so I'm looking for any alternatives,

    cheers

Their prices are keen, but do they include free delivery to ROI or is it just the UK?

Free delivery to ROI with the books. They are good as well, I've used them a few times.

Thanks, I've just ordered a book from them so I'll see how it goes.
Amazon are quite good too, but their international postage charge dilutes the gain.

Amazingly cheap books which ship quite quickly from America.

You can get some good second hand technical books on Amazon(www.amazon.com) and even with postage costs they are still very good value. I've amassed a good collection of IT/Computer books from them.

www.bookpool.com have a great range of IT books at decent prices, international shipping is very reasonable and fairly quick.

I've used them a couple of times. If you fiddle with your order you can maximise the number of books ordered against the shipping costs, their website seems to incorporate the size & weight into shipping costs (which is the fairest way of doing it I suppose). Normally I go and pick the couple I'm specifically after and then throw in a few smaller books which rarely pushes the shipping cost up more than a few dollars.

Hi i have been ordering a few books of the net recently and i have found Play.com the best. They are based in Jersey so you don't pay tax and best of all the next day delivery system really works!

    Good Luck :)

If you are looking for IT books, you might want to check out www.informit.com. They specialise in quality IT books and give discounts on retail prices. They also offer a kind of online library service for a monthly subscription.
