Help needed in buying a Digital Camera

Does anyone know where I can get a digital camera with at least 3megapixels and decent movie-recording capability with audio ?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Ok , Sticking strictly ( ish ) to budget , and assuming your not interested in second hand then this is about as good as it gets for the money ,

4 megapixels , and 640 x 480 at 30 fps for movies which is good enough to watch on a regular tv ! Slighty over budget at 210 but it does have 32MB internal memory to get you started!!
You will need a memory stick for longer movies , but they are cheap enough at about 42 euro for 256MB and about 70 euro for 512MB

If you consider buying second hand, your options will open up considerably. With the like of ebay for example.

Don't know too much about cameras but noticed that Lidl in Clonmel are selling from a tent in their carpark the above camera for €199 was €299.
It's 5m pixel camera. That's as much as I can tell you.

Yeah I think ALDI were doing some deadly deals on digi cameras for something like €200.
3 megapixels and some more good specs.
Don't quote me I'm not too sure.

You can pick up a samsung A400 for £100 + postage (about 170 euro) from amazon.co.uk.

I have just bought one (not yet arrived) the video capability is shown here (3.5 mb, right click save as..)

Fuji a345 or a350. 4m and 5m and retail for 199 and 229.
Alternatively you can get the a345 + 256mb card + case + charger and batteries for 229. Hope this helps

www.pixmania.com is a great site for electronics and usually have the best prices. I've bought numersou cameras and phones there - worth a look!

this sony has 4mp and is €191 euros, id recommend pixmania, ive got loads from them and they are fast to deliever.
