    and the religious percentage breakdown of the two counties?

    The best place to look is NISRA - Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency

    But the break down the population by council districts/health board areas..etc and not by County.

    Therefore you may have to add the council districts... together to get a rough estimate. Sorry..

    Derry Council Areas - Coleraine Borough Council, Derry City Council, Limavady Borough Council, and Magherafelt District Council; and part of Cookstown District Council.

    Tyrone Council Areas - Cookstown District Council, Dungannon & South Tyrone Council, Omagh Council and Strabane Council
