In case anyone else has the same problem - have a powerbook (800MHz) that would overheat consistently in all but optimal ventilation. Came across [url=http://justinblanton.com/archives/2005/06/11/tiger-powerbook-overheating ]this[/url] which fixed it. It points the finger of blame at Tiger and advises people to Reset PRAM…

I don't got the Ti Powerbook i do have a recent Powerbook G4 15'' & she seams to get real hot every where on the base exsept the batt is this normal or should i worry? it dose not seam to harm the PB but it can get almost as hot as a kettle at times & close to burning point but not quite
