Hi.. I am just wondering does an expectant mother pay for antenatal appointments with her doctor? I remember when i was last pregnant (10 years ago) it was free? Does anybody know if it still is?

You get 6 free. Your doctor will get you to fill out a form. We just did ours a few weeks ago. :)

Yup theyre free, my doc didnt put a quantity on it. On my first baby, I was charged for the initial visit. On my second (current) pregnancy my doc said they had been advised not to charge for the first visit. Bear in mind if you go in for any other aches and pains theyre entitled to charge you!
