I finally bit the bullet and threw €10 into PPP this afternoon.

Being quite cautious i started with $2 on the 0.02/0.04 tables with max 6 players.

Lost the first $2 pretty quickly i have to admit.
I can't remember the details of the hand, but i lost it narrowly having pushed all-in with about $1.50.

    Took a break after that.

Came back to it again a little later and was breaking even.

Again had to take a break.

Started again with $2 and really got into the swing of things.
Played for just over an hour and ended up with $40.66 in my account, which includes my initial stake of $11.90.
I won about $30 at the one table.

Got KK a couple times, but only really made them pay off once.
I did win the other times, but scared people off the pot.

Had to share a couple of decent pots as well one was a straight both of us holding AK the other was 9's full of 6's i think, again both of us holding 96.

I found it easier to play less obvious hands.
Flopped a nice straight that payed off big.

It was a lot of fun anyway and i'm glad i gave it a try.

I was wondering how Paddy Power were making any money from this, but i see they hold onto winnings for 3 days. :)

There's no mention of rake for 0.02/0.04 games, JD.
And i've clicked the little ? and it says "no rake".
So am i right in assuming there's no rake on the tables i've been playing on?

Actually i see there is a rake.
The pot's must not have been high enough.

Why is that where you play? :p

    I think i'll stay at 0.02/0.04 a bit longer.

no but if you can make $30 at 2c/4c than do you not think you should move up a level? Increase your stake and im sure you will increase your profits.

I usually play at 25c/50c and 10c/20c. sometimes i play 5c/10c if im drunk or tired, as you cant lose too much there. I never tried the 2c/4c. I mean, your playing with coppers......

You should try the higher levels. Just a suggestion.......

I'm still getting to grips with the change in play.
Coming from Play money, it certainly is a lot different.
    I'll probably move up soon.
