Help with Spa Weekend in Sydney

    Hi,

    Just looking for anyone who's been to Sydney who might help me out. I'm gonna be there in November and it'll be a year since me and my girlfriend met. Would like to do something nice (over a weekend) and a health and beauty spa/resort comes to mind.

    Anyone got any recommendations? I'd like something out of the city that I can arrange transport to (either bus or, at a stretch, cheap flights). I suppose I could stretch to E500 for the weekend, including food and spa treatments etc. Is that too little? I'm not very good at this sort of thing.

    Any help would be appreciated greatly.

    A visit to the Hunter Valley (wine) region is a great one and not a horrible distance from Sydney. Google for "Hunter Valley spa resorts", there are plenty of them. Plus you can go on a winery tour to sample some of the local produce.

    why don't you bring her Ballooning over the Blue Mountains ...stunning views and e500 is sooooooo much money in Auss...you could do it all week :D

    Great idea - but unfortunately €500 would only get the two of us in a hot air balloon for about an hour, I just checked. Spose I could let her go alone, but that'd be no fun for me!
