Try www.bookings.nl if you haven't already, I live here so haven't stayed in any local hotels, if you need any advise let me know

What kind of luxury you looking at? 3* 4*?

I'll see if I can dig out an credit card receipt from a hotel I stayed in a few yr back. It was def 4* and 2 min walk from centre and would highly recommend.

Heard Ian Dempsey on Radio yesterday morning raving on about this place called Nemo in Amsterdam. He described it as an adventure place with lots to do...he couldn't shut up about it.

Stay in the flying pig palace, its a hostel but its really cool with a bar with really cheap beer. Good place to also meet people.
