Hey, just wondering if anyone has any clue if the xbox360 will come with a wire(or sold seperatly) that allows you to use a flat panel pc screen to play it on or will be compatible with one. my screen has 1280*1024 pixels is this enough to support HD picture :)

Yeah mate i'm pretty sure it is, I'm thinking of doing the same thing myself. I wouldn't say the XboX 360 will come packaged with the appropriate connector for it though, you'll probably have to order it online from them.

I presume you mean a DVI connecter? if memory serves yes the 360 will have one (pretty sure the ps3 will too). But that doesnt meant you'll neccessarily be getting a HD picture. You have to have a HD panel (Im not even sure if there is sure if there are HD PC monitors out there) to get HD picture. It will make games look pretty though.

Regardless if your screen supports HD or not, your'll be sure to get better picture quality then your tv, on your monitor. ;)

Unless of course you have a HD-TV :p

Might actually hook up my next gen to my spare DVI port on my monitor when I eventually get one.

Which you would'nt, because why would you wanna hook it up to your monitor? all of the 2% of irish TV owners that have HD anyway, it's not likely :p
