If you're into traditional wooden arrows, have a look at www.flybow.de - if not, ignore me and I'll go away.

I get them from altservices (along with everything else archeryness). Can't beat the prices!

Well if you're building your own arrows for the first time I recommend you get someone to show you how its done. It's not too difficult or anything, but there are a few little tricks that a more experienced person can show you. Also, a more experienced archer/local club is likely to have a fletching jig that you can borrow which would save you a few bills.
I'd recommend aluminium over fibreglass anyday, they're a little more expensive but are stronger and last longer then fibreglass. Also, they can be easily found with a metal detector. Easton's jazz arrows are a good cheap aluminium shaft for beginners. If you want something a bit better again, Easton Platinums also good if a bit pricey.

Again, altservices in England or LVS archery is another good option. He's based in Cork. Doesn't have his arrow prices up atm but if you email him he'll give you a very competitive quote.
