    Garageband2 Install problem

    heloo,

    i did a clean install of tiger on my powerbook and ive gone about re-installing all the necessary programs i need and use. ive a problem though. when i go to install the garageband2.dmg file from my desktop (ive no ilfe DVD), it tells me that

    'there is no valid instrument library' & gives me the option to choose a file or cancel. and it also tells me that 'there is no application support'


    please help or ill pull out the rest of my hair

    hmm, ive contributed to other users on this board,
    i know the other users have brains on this particular subject & could help but maybe they're a bit pre-occupied at the moment.

    maybe if you used the orginal dvd instead of pirating the software it might work

    maybe you can buy it for me then smartarse. :rolleyes:

    i got it working eventually by copying all the application support files directly into the same corresponding folder from my friend's powerbook to mine. works like a charm now. thank god, i was losin' me mind for a while! :confused:
