Also, while on the topic of MSN, I clicked "Sign me in automatically" by mistake when signing in one time and now I don't have to put in the password every time, I want to have to put in the pw every time. How do I make it so I have to put it in again does anyone know?

    Any feedback appreciated:)

Go to tools - options - general tab, and disable automatic sign in on the right, little tick box.
Not sure about the convo, though. Will probalby be fine in the morning, msn is a strange character.

    spooky *twilight zone music* :p
Dont know what went wrong there with your links but u can click Tools -> Options, then the General tab and remove the stored user name and password, i think anyway.

Go to Tools > Security and then tick the box beside "always ask me for my password when checking hotmail, etc..."

Afraid I can't help with regards the conversation problem

Are you using MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger. There might be a problem with displaying certain content in the Windows version unless you go to the Microsoft Updtae site and Update the program.

Yeah I had that experience before. Unfortunately the person on msn thought I was having a laugh but I kept sending him links and he wasnt seeing them and vice versa. It kind of sorted itself out though in the end so im not sure of a quickfix.

Aha, don't know what I did, I think it was a combination of all of the above, but I removed the automatic sign in:) Thanks..

Another thing with MSN, I was sent a file once and the firewall blocked it automatically, it didn't even ask it and it hid it and I can't seem to get at it. It's totally safe, from a trusted source etc. I think it's in my received files but it's hidden maybe? But I have "Show hidden files" on and it's still not there

If you are sure that it downloaded and you know when it downloaded then do a search for all files created on that date. Might have been saved to a temporary folder somewhere.

I am having trouble getting my MSN Messenger version 7 to connect for me. I just keep getting the error message "Sorry, we were unable to sign you in to the .NET Messenger Service at this time. Please try again later. 80072ee7"
The only solution that I can find hasn't worked for me which was to uncheck the TCP tick box. I have shut off my Norton antivirus and allowed MSN within my XP firewall. Anyone any help at all? Massively annoying

Is it safe to download it if it was leaked? Like people could have put in some unwanted viruses/spyware into the thing?
