Does anyone know of any jobs/companies recruiting in Cork at the moment? IT/Software, Helpdesk etc.

Seems to be lots of jobs in Dublin at the moment and lots of chat on this forum of jobs in Dublin but none in our nations second city!

Try McAfee. They set up a localisation centre in Cork recently.

Not sure if they are recruiting at the moment though.

Im in the same position. Going to get all my contacts in order and then do a CV blitz campaign that would make the luftwaffe proud!

Seimans usually hire people I think (tech/customer support). If you dont mind that type of work.

I had a quick look there for McAfee but didnt find any contact details. Anyone know of any contact info there? (you can PM if you prefer).

Surely there should be more than McAfee? Are there more (large) IT company types in Cork?

And also Jank, what do you mean "if you like that kind of work" ? Youre making me scared here!

Thats why. If you have some experience you are sorted but with graduates with little or no expereince then its much tougher to get the foot in the door.

you'd be surprised, a lot of experienced people have priced themselves outa the market.
