    hi,
i have a very slow upload link and for FTP i would like to upload the files in a zip archive, and then send some FTP command or something to unzip them on the server. it's a windows 2003 FTP server. anybody got any ideas for this?

i'm thinking i might have to write an asp.net uncompress utility and put it on the site to invoke manually on a file. hopefully it won't come to that though!

    cheers

If you can telnet in, that's gonna be the best way. Win2k3 does support telnet AFAIK, though it's crap (this is to be expected). FTP doesn't support running commands (for good reason :)).
