My hair is really thick and wavy, if i twist it in a bun after i wash it and take it out the next day i hav curls but they're so frizzy. So basically im looking for a product dat will de-frizz and define my curls.

Any idea's? Oh and one more question, i used a Charles W. serum once ( bought it in boots), it had a pink lid but havn't found it anywhere since. Anybody know the one im talking about, and where i can get it.

Yes I know the one you are talking about, i have a bottle of it but didn't find it very good to be honest and I hated the smell. If you want a serum the best one is is by Alfaparf but it can only be bought in a hair salon.

Other good products are Secret Agent (it's a finishing creme) and Glistening Creme (instant conditioner) John Frieda's Frizz Ease range.

I tried the john frieda one but i didn't find it good, too thick or something. How much does the Alfaparf cost, and which salon's sell it?

I wasn't recommending the John Frieda serum it was the Secret Agent (but maybe you knew that)

The serum costs about €15, i'm not from Dublin so I don't know where you would get it. I know that Peter Marks don't stock it anyway. Sorry can't be of more help but the serum is really worth looking around for, I find it a wonder product couldn't be without it

There's a L'oreal Elvive shampoo and conditioner that helps smooth out your hair. Which may help before you put on any serum.

The thing with Serum is ya gotta be very careful with them, that you dont put too much in your hair. A little goes a long way.

Don't know about the products your talking about. But you should go into a salon and ask them. Or try Terry Sales on Middle Abbey Street. They're very helpful and give you advice. I think they're all hairdressers in there.

My hair can be quite like yours, I just make sure I always use conditioner and use a little bit of mouse through my hair and scrunch it, leaving it to dry naturally - it works well for me.

Dove conditioner is the business. Sometimes when I wash my hair at nightime I don't fully dry it and without anything it is a frizzball, but if I put DOVE in it, it is grand and it smells divine. :)

If you brush your hair STOP immediately. This only adds to the frizz. Brush less often and the curls will become very defined. Brush once a week to remove dead hair.

As far as conditioners are concerned Umberto Giovanni make an excellent Intensive Conditioning Mask. It leaves hair feeling and looking excellent. I've been using it for some while and it really does make a difference.

Also a conditioning treatment at a hair salon could help.

yep this works for me - also i find if you wash your hair less often the natural oils in your hair reduce the frizz - before going out i generally put some hair spray over any serum (i use the tony and guy one) - i know its not the best for your hair but it keeps my hair less frizzy for longer.

*sigh* i wish i had straight hair - it takes me over 2 hours to wash and style my hair every time
