just had a house game of texas hold 'em last night and this following hand caused a bit of a stir...

    Player A: 6c 4c
    Player B: Jc 10d

    community cards: Kc 9c 2c 9c Ah

    who wins?
Both players have a king high straight. But with Player B having the highest 'kicker'.

I think you made a coupla mistakes with the hand description. There's a second 9 of clubs there. If both players made flushes then the one with the higer kicker would win.

    great, thanks..
some of the players were arguing a "a king high flush is a king high flush.. kickers don't count with flushes"
