No winner of the €97.5 million Jackpot.

It will be well over 100 million next week.

I've only done it twice. Last week and this week. I had 2 + 1 star last week for a €9 jackpot!! I was sooo convinced it would be me winning tonight, as I'm sure anyone else who did it thought so too...

100 million though.... the mind boggles. Whoever eventually wins this jackpot will have to go into hiding and change their name and identitiy. I have my new name selected, so I'm prepared :)

Ah you big bah humbug ye. :p It's only 76,275,360/1 !! Get your facts right, tch....

Go on, play it next week - wouldn't it be gas if you won and you could recall this thread and go on to the Late Late in the Autumn and tell Pat Kenny how you never thought you could win until some guy called alleepally on an internet bulletin board encouraged you to buy a ticket....

well somone won the 63 million about 2 months ago. And his odds were pretty high. Some Luck sh*te has to win it. Fingers Crossed for me

Back of the slip it quotes approximate odds of winning. Overall odds of a win on a ticket are 24:1 (e.g. you might get 2 numbers + 1 bonus)

Anyone see that ITV series The Big Call. Winner gets to choose between £20,000 or 100,000 lottery tickets. Numbers are chosen by a mathematician. Last week, out of 100,000 tickets there was £17,000 won...

Well, I won €11 quid tonight, so I made a small profit, won't complain, I guess.

Will most certainly be playing next week, a couple of euro to entertain myself with the thoughts etc. etc.

I know it's easy for me to say this now, but I was watching the news before I checked the results and I saw the piece about Niger, I thought had I won it I wouldn't be able to live with myself without giving the majority of it to charity. I mean, had I won the entire jackpot and I gave €80 million to charity, I'd still be able to piss the rest of my life away in great style. I don't mean to go off topic, but some of the pictures on the BBC report were tragic, you couldn't help but be upset by it all.

    Anyway, roll on next week.

rofl - we did the same thing. It would have worked out at about 1.7 million each. It would have been priceless to see the department completely empty on Monday morning. We were going to leave notes for the other shift : "So long, suckers!"

Our work syndicate did the same thing too, except there was only 20 or so of us, so it would have been 4-5million each. Seriously though, I really hope some syndicate (and a large one at that) wins the jackpot, it's far too much money for any one person to even begin to know what to do with it.

you wouldn't really, it's up to you if you want your identity made public, I know the Irish Lotto offer a little extra to people who do go public... as if you'd need more here!

It's then up to you to be clever with your money, although what is looking like over €100 million would be hard to hide!

    How to win EuroMillions

There are twelve ways to win on Euro Millions. To win the Jackpot you must match all five main numbers AND your two Lucky Star numbers. Second prize is five main numbers and one Lucjy Star, thrid is five main numbers and no Lucky Stars. Then comes the change: fourth prize is won by matching four main numbers and both Lucky Star numbers, fifth by matching four main numbers and one Lucky Star, etc. Check your results here.

Never have to get a job. Retire from doing nothing at 21 and move to some uninhabited island with wireless internet and a landing pad for my helicopter and bring the girl that i love.

In all probability Ill be sitting here next saturday night with nothing to do except post on boards and still not have the girl that I love:sadface
The Lotto is so depressing. Or is it life? Im not sure
