Anyone watch the show last night? Bloody horrible players, the lot of them.
The Swedish guy with the beard was hilarious. He quite litelally fell asleep in one hand when he had no decision to make and got the clock put on him. ROFL. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz..........Then goes on tilt and makes what he calls "my standard raise" at 7K/15K to 100K with 47o. WTF? And this guy says he's an internet professional!!! Yes of course you are in between delivering pizzas for a living.

As for the HU battle. The one player who would never limp into a pot. *limps* (with QQ) and alarm should now deafening. The guy in the BB actually said outload that "you limped because you wanted me to raise" He has T6 and the flop comes 6 high. What does he do then? "I'm all in!" HA! Comical. The benny hill of poker shows.

Hi Nicky! I didn't see this last nite, but caught it previously in the Merrion when it was first aired on British TV. From your description, it is the Betfair heat of the British Poker Open. The "Swedish guy with the beard" is none other than German high-stakes STT internet pro Thomas Bihl aka Buzzer who, believe it or not, won $220k in the Party Poker Million online tourney a few weeks ago. He also won a $5k entry STT on Party Poker two days ago that I know of, so the boy gets results. I'd say he was just a bit nervous playing on TV. Anyway, I've posted your review on the Betfair poker forum. Will be interesting to see what the nice folk there make of it :)

The Swedish guy with the beard [Buzzer, from Germany] was hilarious.

The one player who would never limp into a pot [Bengt Sonnert aka pkrbt] *limps* (with QQ) and alarm should now deafening. The guy in the BB [Ariston] actually said outload that "you limped because you wanted me to raise" He has T6 and the flop comes 6 high. What does he do then? "I'm all in!" HA! Comical. The benny hill of poker shows.

already explained my thoughts on the heat in the deal. Already admitted I played last hand like a **** and my thinking behind the mistake I made. Please tell me when I can see you in any big event either televised or not so I can insult your play This was not the first and wont be the last big event I play so maybe we will meet over the table sometime.

I deserved that. For what its worth I thought he was by far the best player up until that point. Oh well. Glad my blowup in the city west last month wasn't televised. :D

Post of the month, without a doubt.

BTW, UTV are starting a poker 'celebrity' show next Monday night (25th) for those of you, like me, who don't have the poker channel. Not sure how good, but will def watch the first one. Helen Chamberlain is one of the players ;)
