International "I'm Spartacus" Week.

From Monday, July 25th, to Sunday, July 31st, will be the first ever International "I'm Spartacus" Week.

And all you have to do to take part is to include the words "I'm Spartacus" in every piece of communication you have with those around you. For example, if you're sending an email to anyone include "I'm Spartacus" in the mail. Follow this up by including "I'm Spartacus" in every BB post you make. And if anyone asks you why just tell them you're taking part in International "I'm Spartacus" Week 2005.

So, c'mon join in the fun!!!!

Actor Eric Douglas, son of Kirk Douglas and half brother to Michael, was found dead earlier this year in his apartment in New York. Eric struggled in his battle against his drug and alcohol addiction as he was left in the shadow of his more successful and well known relatives. Eric was also a stand up comedian. On a visit to London, Eric toured on the London Comedy circuit. Unfortunately, he was a poor stand up comedian. During one performance, the show was not going well. All of Erics' routines were going down like a lead balloon and he was basically dying on his arse. After several failed attempts to make the crowd laugh, he was met with deathly silence.

At this point Eric got extremely frustrated and started to berate the crowd for not laughing. He then commited the cardinal sin of trying to use his family name to enhance his performance. He shouted out at the top of his voice at the crowd.

"Do you know who I am, I'm Kirk Douglas's son "

Someone stood up in the silence that followed at the back of the room. A lone cockney voice then broke with the following ... wait for it ....

"No, I'm Kirk Douglas's Son"

Cue the chain reaction around the room until the whole room joined in.
